What I Do
When people ask me what I do, I always pause before I answer. The word Healer has been bandied about so much in our world that its true meaning is often hidden behind a veil of confusion - and delusion. To me, it is not just a word, not just something you do as a hobby or until a better career comes along. It is a Sacred title. It is who I am, and I am it.
THE WORK I DO DOESN'T INVOLVE MAKING PREDICTIONS:
I SEE WHAT HAS BEEN, WHAT IS, AND WHAT IS COMING, (IF I'M MEANT T0), AND ACT AS YOUR GUIDE AND MESSENGER, SO THAT YOU MAY FIND CLARITY IN YOUR LIFE.
IT IS JOURNEY WORK.
I help people move forward in their lives. I do this by giving them what they need, according to their individual situation. If I can help them I will. If I can't, I'll refer them to someone who I feel can.
Healing also depends on whether or not a person is ready to receive help. If they are, they surrender to doing whatever work is needed in order to help themselves heal. Then, they ideally do some research about the type of Healing path they want to go down. There are many differing views and methods when it comes to Healing someone, and many people desire someone who will step in and make all of their decisions for them. Although this would seem to be a good thing, (and sometimes in an emergency, this is simply the wisest option), I believe that by giving all of our power and authority over to someone else, we are creating disempowerment in our lives, and our Healing will be an unbalanced one.
I prefer what I feel is a more beneficial and balanced way of Healing, which encourages a person to work not only with the wisdom and guidance of their Healer, but with that which is their own. A Healer will also open themselves up to receive guidance from Spirit, from the Divine, and this is something that is available, (in varying degrees), for everyone to do. Working in this way allows a person to participate in their own Healing, thus creating empowerment.
My Story...So Far!
I've always felt that my Calling lay in helping people, and so it was that I was halfway through my Bachelor of Social Work at
The University Of Queensland in 1996 when I became ill and had to stop and sort things out. As Fate would have it, this was one of the best things that could ever have happened to me as, though I was born with my abilities, I was not consciously aware that I had them. My Quest to recover my health lead me to the discovery, in my late twenties/early thirties of my Magickal Calling, and my innate gifts.
I surrendered to my love of Metaphysical and Esoteric knowledge, received my Certificate in Advanced Tarot, began giving professional readings, and then became a Professional Member of The Australian Psychics Association. When that organisation expanded, I became a Professional Member of The International Psychics Association, (currently, I'm a Provisional Member of both Associations). My work is with women, but I also have a great interest in the protection and development of children/young people, who
are "sensitive".
I'm passionate about Healing and excited about, and supportive of, the many ways in which people can receive the Healing that is right for them, as individuals. I'm a strong advocate for the idea that all people deserve access to Healing, no matter what their circumstances. I also regard the Animal and Plant Nations as my friends and teachers, and as equally worthy of my respect, care and protection, as the Human Nations.
I continue to explore different ways to expand and deepen my knowledge of Healing, particularly through my connections to both Nature and music, and through the use of the written word, art, and various other Shamanistic techniques.
It has been a very interesting journey indeed that has led me to NOW, but one that I would not swap for anything!
